Camille Stoch outpaced Lewandowski for number one in Poland

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski was overtaken by ski jumper Camille Stoich in the poll for the No. 1 athlete in Poland.

During the weekend Stoch became the first jumper after Sven Hannawald, winning one season to win all the starts of the prestigious Four Chains. This happened for the first time since 2002. Lewandowski won the poll in 2015, becoming the first footballer to win the legend, Zbigniew Bonnek, who was awarded with it in 1982. Ski jumping is a religion in Poland, and Stoke`s choice is no surprise.
